When The Number One Yankees Prospect, 16 Year Old Jasson Dominguez, Makes Contact With a Baseball It Sounds Like An Explosion In A War Movie
It's too late. We're all in way too deep with the number one prospect in the Yankees organization. I don't want to sound too White Sox Davey here with a blog about a minor league prospect who is years away from seeing a big league field, but for Jasson Dominguez I'm going to make an exception. I've never seen anything like him. We've never seen anything like him.
Jasson Dominguez is the number one prospect in the Yankees organization at the age of 16. Baseball America's grades for him right now are Hit: 60 Power: 70 Run: 70 Fielding: 60 Arm: 60. You only go to 80 on this scale and it's not a view of a projection. This is what he's at right now. 16 years old and his tools pin him as one of the best players in baseball. Once again, he's sixteen years old. He's still growing. He's 5'10 190 pounds and has gifts that gods wish they possessed. Ridiculous.
I mean just listen to the sound of that bat. It sounds like a bomb is going off. And here's the fun part. He's a switch hitter. I mean he's at a Trout/Mantle/Soto/A-Rod/Harper hype level and it's not going to stop. He's absolutely untouchable in any trade offered to New York where Juan Soto or Trout aren't coming back in the deal.
I'm not sure we truly understand what we have here.
